Designation and Experience
I received my Social Work Diploma in 1992; Since then I have worked in a variety of positions including, group homes, a live-in counselor for teens, foster and Kinship care, and front line Child Welfare Work. I was also a foster parent for several years and adopted my now 31 year old daughter who came to live with us when she was 12. Prior to coming on board with ABC, I wrote several Home Studies and taught the Adoptive Parent Preparation Program. Currently I am the Manager of the Home Study Program at Adoption by Choice.
What inspires you?
My children; they've taught me to always appreciate the little things and to never settle. They keep me young and energetic, they make me laugh until my sides hurt, their honesty humbles me and they make me proud to be a mom.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Having the courage to simply be me; pushing myself to bigger and better things and refusing to settle.
What are your hobbies or interests?
I love to travel and hope to do a lot more of it in the future. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends or curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace.
Why should people come to Adoption By Choice?
The quality of service at Adoption by Choice is next to none. Our staff are passionate, energetic and truly believe in what they do. People who come to Adoption by Choice will be treated with the utmost respect and dignity.
Why you chose to work for Adoption By Choice?
I had the opportunity to work with Ramone Kindrat in previous years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Throughout my career, my passion has always been with adoptions so when Ramone called me up and asked me to join her team I jumped at the opportunity. Adoption by Choice’s high level of standards and dedication and commitment to families is simply remarkable. I am proud to be part of such an incredible team!
